Student Loans Consolidation Service
Similar to refinancing a mortgage, for instance, there are consolidation student loans. These loans merge several student or parent loans into one bigger loan from a single lender, which is then used to pay off the balances on the other loans.

The loans of both students and parents can be consolidated. However, students and parents cannot merge their loans through consolidation, since only loans from the same borrower can be consolidated. They can, though, consolidate their loans separately.

The term for students to consolidate their education loans is during the grace period or after the loans start repayment. Loans that are in default but with adequate repayment arrangements may also be consolidated. The loans can no longer be consolidated while the students are still in school
